A holding DM traits should be:
Strength - Ability to hold up play
Passing range - breaking lines and clipping over top, link up
Press resistant - ball carrying and progression
Quick - To cover spaces and flanks
Defensive Versatility - Breaking up play, 1v1, cover breaks

Now, TFM has the ability to all these except maybe the passing range, his range is limited (imo). He could break lines (like Matic) but idk if he could spring a pass over the top and find outlet runs of our wingers (like Fabinho/Thiago). But that’s a fixable issue too 
I mean he made 64 passes last season in his 3 games and had a 84.4% completion rate, 21 forward passes as well but only 2 crosses and that’s with him playing a fullback. Dispossessed ZERO times.
His speed sees him able to sit and cover flanks when fullbacks push forward. Plus with his ability to play fullbacks, his positioning and reading of the game wouldn’t be awful (one can truly hope).
His ability to play CB would also see his transition in possession into the back line to create a solid 3 when fullbacks push forward effortless. A strong weak foot, can see him play out of any situation. Although the does prefer his right foot.
Tackling, again, his nature and experience as a defender would come in handy. Not too irrational, not too rushed or too quick to get caught out. His energy and relentlessness sees him match Fred energy but with Matic composure (slightly).
The only thing that would bother me is last season, he played 3 games and gave away 5 fouls. That’s not exactly great. But also in this time he had 4 interceptions
His strength doesn’t go unnoticed. He’ll be able to control most midfields battles and bully most if not all
Now with all that said, TFM would make, imo a good holding DM. Has the frame, the height, the speed, the defensive ability and can be taught the composure on the ball and off it to not drift into wasted space.
Again, I beg, don’t take me too serious. This isn’t a campaign to see him there, I know ole will never play him there but it truly would be very very cool to see and could possibly work out as well. Imo at least so yeah. That’s my idea

SIKE I AINT DONE. Imma focus on his 15/16 season. Where he played 8 games (264 mins - 6 times subbed on, 1 subbed off) . Imma focus on his defensive stats and his offensive stats. Imma try and gauge as much ability as I can
