He was born in Pannar caste.he sang lord with love.but never visited temple as he thought He is ineligible for it .once chief priest of sri rangam lokasarangha offended him when he was meditating near Kaveri bed and told him to leave the way for him.

as he thought he is from lower caste .this irked lord Ranganathan and he refuses to open door for lokasarangha muni. realising his fault he took thirupanalvar in his shoulder and reached temple.there he sang beautiful ten verses and merged with lord. His works is amalanadhipiran

thirumangai Alwar he was born in colour community is named Neelan. Father was commander in Army of Chola king. he joined Army  of Chola king.he was Brave and brilliant king was please and made king of Ali Nadu and

named him parakala. His capital was thirumangai. Once he fell in love with kumudhavalli daughter of royal Doctor.  she put condition that  he must be Vaishnava and fed thousand people per day for whole year.Marriage took place and he was attracted towards vaishnava very much

and started constructing walls of Sri Ranganatha temple.once he refused to pay tax to king king sent troops to arrest him.but he couldn't be defeated . but t still surrender to king as to show his respect.he was jailed.sri Vishnu said to find treasure in river bed of kanchi.

He did so and got released.once his money was over he indulge in highway robbery.once there was marriage procession he robbed both bride groom and bride.they gave all the jewels except ring Put in bridegrooms leg when he asked bridegroom told himself to take.he tried

But couldn't succeeded even with his teeth.hence he leaves it. when tried to lift jewels he couldn't do and surprised by this
