kinda messed up how the official english translation of caramelldansen references the fact that the original version was a meme
I think they should do an english version of despacito that does that. just have the second verse say "you know how this song is a meme right"

okay it's because there's two separate official english versions of caramelldansen on genius
the differences between these two versions appear to be that, "Caramelldansen (English version)" is the same translation as "Caramelldancing", but with the more explicitly self-referential sections changed slightly
hhh fine I guess I'll listen to both of these english versions of caramelldansen to verify if they actually made these extremely minor changes to the lyrics

literally what is this. why does genius say this exists, a cover of "Caramelldancing" (the english version of caramelldansen) but with some extremely minor changes to the lyrics that remove the parts that acknowledge that it's a meme song
why is the release date for both of these versions the same? how did this happen

okay right I'm pretty sure the Meaning version is just misheard lyrics from the Meme version, and it's only separate on Genius because it's a slightly different title. but WHY is it labeled as a "cover" of the Meme version?
