Pistons haven't been afraid to use this big-big P&R with Blake and Plumlee. Should be a switch but watch Plumlee slips and Blake just attacks down the middle and finishes over Drummond.
Andre Drummond: zone buster.
JaVale McGee is fully formed in 2020.
Pistons run this set out of a timeout. Wright comes off the DHO from Blake while Plumlee screens for Grant. Love stays with Blake, Drummond helps on the drive, Plumlee is open for a split second but they don't see it. Great stunt and contest by Okoro at the end of this one.
Cavs come back with a Drummond/Sexton P&R and this is where Sexton can't predetermine his move in P&R. Comes off quick looking to go to the pocket, Rose puts a hand in and now he picks up his dribble and it's over. Tried to get a Drummond post up but turnover.
Pistons went with a Blake/Rose P&R. Okoro jumps to Plumlee at the dunker which leaves Grant open. First one should be a shot, definitely can't pass the second one in that spot.
this game has been a textbook "learning how to win" type deal.
The good news for Cleveland is Garland does his job and gets two on the ball. Drummond draws two defenders on the roll. He is at least looking to make this play on the catch. Just have to get it there.
oh this cavs/pistons game really won't end huh
Blake/Rose P&R, Drummond switches on to Rose and...gets the steal. Sexton does a good job pushing in transition, doesn't force it. Love's trail pulls Sekou out and opens the driving lane. Drummond with a little seal to finish it.
Detroit went with another Blake/Rose P&R and...it goes off Drummond's foot and Collin Sexton with the winning play to dive on it. This makes no sense. I don't know what I've done.
Cleveland goes with a lob play, ending in Nance curling towards the rim. Goal is to hope the Pistons mess up a switch. Pistons switched everything pretty well. Also Delon Wright deflected the pass because *of course*
