Ok, I’ve watched all 4 Indiana Jones movies in the last 4 days, some thoughts:
1) The Last Crusade is the best, and it’s pretty clear. Story structure, dialog between Indy and Henry Sr, and ending all perfect;
2) Raiders is still a top 25 movie all time

3) The actual biggest weakness of Temple of Doom is the 2nd lead. Short Round is fun in doses, but Willie is so far below any other 2nd lead in the series;
4) Doom may have the best chase sequences outside the boulder though

5) Actual weakness of Chrystal Skull is the amount of time spent on exposition and the weakness of the punch lines (both joke itself and timing). The story is mostly fun, Ford still awesome with Allen. Monkey swing is really the only really stupid thing (I don’t even mind fridge)

6) I still don’t care it’s not how archeology works; I don’t care the Nazis no longer had book burnings or that they weren’t in Egypt at that time. The historical inaccuracies are mostly minor and help improve the stories, so they’re warranted. /End
