Your friendly neighborhood RN here to report the Rona moved through our family/church about a month ago and we got a good group of herd immunity going on now (well over a couple hundred cases).
Observations:
1. Children handled it with barely a runny nose

2. Adults (18-60) varied in symptoms from headache/low grade fever/aches/a tickley unproductive cough/fatigue/loss of taste
3. Older adults WITHOUT comorbities had the same symptoms. Some had a little more with lingering fatigue/cough for a few weeks. No treatment needed.
3. Older adults WITHOUT comorbities had the same symptoms. Some had a little more with lingering fatigue/cough for a few weeks. No treatment needed.

4. Older adults WITH comborbities had a harder go. Some sought antibody treatment with great success, others (about 5 to my knowledge) required O2 therapy.
5. There were 5 hospitalizations: 2 passed away, one of which was a nursing home resident.
5. There were 5 hospitalizations: 2 passed away, one of which was a nursing home resident.

Conclusion:
As much as I want it to be the flu, it is not. I’ve watched (and felt) the disease process myself with three very close family members who struggled greatly with the strange virus. Two of them passed away. But this “case study” shows the absurdity of lockdowns.

Children and adults are largely unaffected by this. We ought to be able to reopen schools. We can protect the elderly and those with comorbidities by having them practice good hygiene and not hanging around them if you don’t feel well.

In the end, this virus is weird, and we need doctors to be quick to provide treatment with HCQ and other therapies and to encourage the use of supplementation.
It ran its course in my house and we mega dosed on Vit C/Vit D/Zinc and also Quercetin and recovered in 2 days.

I’ve seen the HCQ work first hand to halt the disease process in its tracks.
I’ve also observed that in anyone under 60, it’s much easier to get over than the flu. It’s the older age bracket which struggles.

You should not fear this virus, but there are some things you can have on hand to support your immune system and you might especially encourage your elderly family members to do the same.
Get some sun, stay hydrated, exercise, eat well, and go on with life friends

And obviously, this is not medical advice, only observations
just to cover my tail
