Given that social democrats, not anarchists, MLs, or any other more revolutionary minded segment, are the dominant faction of the American left both IRL and online, it's embarassing how the broader left appears when people driven by personality try to reform the state without...
...even a 101 level grasp of how the systems they seek to use even function

Example: dunking on some Congressional liberal over a procedural vote that's part of the rules of how the House works, or blaming the House for $600 when they've passed $1200 bills multiple times and...
...it's the fault of Senate obstructionism to get any of those bills passed

If socdems seek to use the tools of the capitalist state to reform the capitalist state, then how will that work if you all get mad about basic functions you didn't account for because the...
...personality-based dunk or outrage is dominating politics, rather than dismantling structures in the way of progress?

Some of you are now even tearing down your few allies in the state because of temper tantrum mentality led by podcasters feeding your anger for clicks
One of the major radicalizing points for me was years of participating in the politically symbolic: NGO permit approved protest, canvassing for federal candidates, phone calls to Senators and Reps

This stuff was mostly symbolic and amounted to little
And I see alot of symbolic tendencies in the so-called left post-Bernie/Corbyn

Some have become completely detatched, stuck in a malaise of cynicism and non-growth, fed by shitty online communities and personality cults

This manifests in shit like "Well Tucker has a point" and
endless complaining about "wokescolds" and aimless "anti-establishment" sentiment without a coherent or complete analysis of the power structures and propaganda of our opposition

It's our duty to fight the system at it's roots, not to get entagled in arguments about the branches
And if you resort to deliberately misrepresenting news events to dunk on "the establishment", when those people do plenty to criticize without anyone needing to make shit up, then alot of people start to think of the broader left as the horseshoe theory mirror of QAnon

Stop

Plz
The lack of proper support for Americans during the pandemic isn't the fault of person X or person Y, they are replaceable actors working within a system designed to protect profits and property of a few over the lives of the many

It's the system itself working as intended
I think too many thought grand sweeping rapid change was coming from above via elections, and are maybe now learning that real significant change happens through popular mobilization and building social movements and groups to fight for change from below

It's hard, but necessary
