Honestly more people should do introspection about their gender beyond ‘this is what society assigned to me’ like that is ultimately what ‘cisness’ as a concept is. Merely being attached to something simply because it was assigned to you.
Thats not to say you should reject your assigned gender simply because of it being your assigned gender, rather you should actively choose to identify as such by understanding *why* you identify with it
The goal of trans liberation is to dissolve the concept of ‘trans’ and ‘cis’ entirely by undermining the concept of gendered expectations, and replacing it with agency for each person to identify in whatever way they choose to regardless of whether its what they were ‘assigned’
It is the assignment itself that we need to do away with
