IS IT GOOD TO LEAVE YOUR LAPTOP CHARGER PLUGGED IN, EVEN WHEN THE BATTERY HITS 100%?

A short thread on laptop battery use.
1. There is nothing wrong with using your laptop plugged in. Modern laptop batteries don't get any damage from this. When the battery hits 100%, the charging system simply diverts the power to the laptop so that it uses power directly from the charger. So, no worries here.
2. The greatest enemy of batteries is heat. Avoid keeping your laptop in hot environments. It is also not advisabe to keep your laptop on a bed during use. Be sure to put a heat resistant object under it if you must use it on a bed.

It is always good practice to use it on a desk
3. If you aren't going to use the laptop for a long time, it is best to remove the battery from the laptop. But if the battery is in-built, Apple recommends charging up to 50% once every six months. This applies to other brands too. https://www.apple.com/batteries/maximizing-performance/
4. Avoid draining the battery to 0%. Its best to shut down at 20% if power is not available to charge it. 15% min.

All batteries die eventually. Adhering to these practices only helps to ensure that they last as long as possible and you get maximum value for your money

Cheers🍹
