1: I'm hazarding a guess you mean Smart Mark Video

2: SMV's policy has always been that they own the masters to every show they film & can sell them/use them etc

3: I am entirely unsurprised this is happening again

SMV claimed rights of the masters to early CZW shows, it's why CZW went in-house (with me!), and generally wanted ownership of their own masters

This has been a thing for like, 20 years at this point

Most indy wrestling production companies work in this fashion

This isn't the first time this has come up and it definitely won't be the last, but everybody involved really should've been aware that this was the case for both parties

I also have a heavy suspicion one always knew this was the case, but instead of paying for the masters (as you can do), they want to apply pressure via social media instead
