It is so wonderful for a young poet to find that her work has been shared by a superstar but it’s unimaginable that he won’t give her credit even after she points it out to him. It has been nearly three days and @SrBachchan has not acknowledged @TishaAgarwal14’s poem. 1/n
In 2017, Kumar Vishwas had made a tribute video on legendary poets in which he included Mr. Bachchan’s father’s poem. When it was shared with him, this was his response. 2/n
He went on to send a legal notice to Vishwas for copyright infringement and unauthorised use of the poem. Kumar Vishwas tweeted that families of other poets had appreciated the tribute video but from Bachchan he got a legal notice instead. He then returned to the actor Rs. 32/- revenue earned by him from the video. 4/n
One can argue that Bachchan was justified in sending the notice as a copyright infringement is a copyright infringement, whatever may be the intention behind it. 5/n
