Rich ppl FAIL to generate enough economic activity. They make the most and spend the least.
Instead of condemning the average Joe for standing in line for pair of J's (THANK YOU), maybe turn that judgement on the rich guy who only buys 3 pairs of jeans a year. (BREAK BREAD).
The rich literally sit on their money and get taxed the least. We, the poor and "middle class", which doesn't exist, HAVE to spend every dollar we have and some dollars we dont to survive and WE generate the economic spending that a nation NEEDS to survive. 70% of it.
But if they (the rich) can keep us at each others necks about our own REQUIRED spending instead of looking at the numbers, they can convince us the problem is that we just need to earn more. That WE'RE the assholes.
Know your enemy.
Hint: it is NOT your neighbor in the 2 bedroom.
