Looking at the historical flight radar for Nashville from 1AM-7AM, a few interesting notes: 1) flights were still departing through 6AM, but last flight departure at 6:14AM. This aligns with the reports of “gunshots” but NOT with RV detonation at 6:30AM. Which means ....
The “gunshots” as I suspected, were building internal demolition detonations, which took airport some FAA systems offline around 6:14AM.
Following this, there is a full BNA ground stoppage, no flights are recorded in or out.
2) There was a helo takeoff at 3:35AM from Nashville that flew 13min at a low 1500ft to a farm field landing at 3:48AM. It’s registered as a MedVac Airbus H130 but unless there was a major crash at that time & location (3:30AM Christmas morning), this seems very odd to me.
If, as I suspect, “gunshots” were planted demolition charges at ATT/suspected NSA building, this helo flight could well have been specops team exfiltration, as the RV arrived at 1:22AM with team entering ATT around that time, planting charges, then rendezvous at helo point @ 3:30
But clearly any idea that the RV explosion caused the FAA or ATT systems shutdown is a INCORRECT. Flights in/out of BNA stopped at 6:14AM, 16 minutes BEFORE the RV detonated, proving it was NOT the cause of the damage. It had to be the “gunshots” — building demolition charges.
Kind of a smoking gun here. The RV explosion was COVER for the real demolition done inside.
