"If you love someone unconditionally, and say you'll always love them no matter who they are or what they've done, what do you even love about them" Is such an S-tier reframing of the concept that I wish they taught it in schools.
Your love isn't an entitlement, not for your family, not for your partner, not even for your offspring. Terrible people don't deserve your loyalty or love because of blood ties, or history, or anything else.
ANYWAY just reading a post about a person who heinously tortured their sibling for a decade during their childhoods, never apologized/expressed even the slightest acknowledgement or remorse, and now family is playing the "That was years ago, they're FAMILY" card.

lol. fuk awf.
Fuck that person, and fuck their enabling family who clearly did nothing to stop it at the time, and now want the victim to play nicey-nice in the name of pretending it never happened (and put themselves in a position to be hurt yet again).

In the trash they go.
