6:15 timer countdown begins, announcing every minute, at 0 the "evacuate now" message we have all heard is played for roughly 5minutes on repeat, then explosion occurs.
The bomb was probably ANFO, between 500lbs-1000lbs packed in two or three containers/bags, which would explain the bouldering explosion, it detonated slowly/partial combustion, and didn't all go off at once, leaving lots of black residue on the street and a copious black cloud.

Who gets blamed if this becomes politicized in media?

The media will label this attack as "trump terror" or something to that effect, and will claim trump is inciting terrorist groups with his rhetoric of election fraud. Coverage will be round the clock and be discussed for months, long after the investigation is closed.
This is will cause some to want to distance themselves as far as possible from the Trump brand, causing republican politicians to make a choice between losing trump supporters and being round the clock named and shamed in the media. "Do you think your rhetoric caused X...?"
This could even play deeper into beltway politics if Jan 06 fails, forcing some who would not otherwise side with Potato to agree to some sort of assault weapon ban, enforcement, list, etc.
He will do this in the name of curbing "Trump Terror" and "Right Wing Radicalism" as "I want unity but you can't unify with terrorist." Couple this with any push back from the right via coverage, or rallies by "Trump Terrorists" and he will have a perfect excuse to do it.
This can be the pretext for all sorts of open-ended, harrassing investigations into Trump supporters or 2A supporters because "Trump Terror". And with the media so obliging expect these ppls info leaked through the press.
This will keep Trump supports busy and throw there lives into a bit of chaos, which will prevent them from properly organizing. Second, it will see others distance themselves even further for trump supporters as they are painted more and more like crazy people and terrorists.
It will also give the far left names and faces to target and harass.
