No wonder Jenkins is distancing herself from the movie. She doesn’t have the sensibilities for this stuff.
No effort here, would be surprised if Jenkins directs another big budget movie after this.
The movie was very tacky with shoddy politics. It looks expensive, but cheaply executed. Very juvenile.
Lol this movie plot was based on some of the worst aspects of 80’s movies. The use of 1984 on the title had no significance on the story.
The filmmakers behind this have no clue what they are doing. Hopefully someone else gets a shot for the third installment.
It’s hard to have an opinion on the performances because the script was so bad. I have defended Gadot a lot in the past(BvS, F&F), but she feels severely miscast for what Jenkins/Johns are doing with the character.
