i'm all for normalising it but remember that people could have perfectly legit reasons for not joining in
someone responded to this saying 'but if you're cis there's no excuse for not putting them in' & like, lol. some people are closeted, is the point
& if it's expected for cis people to have them as a matter of course, then people will be being outed by the lack of them

it's only a small minority who actually harass people like that, of course. trying to cement a prescriptive list of approved behaviours. 'it is good to normalise x' becomes 'it is required to do x' & then 'it is evil to not do x' if left in their meddlesome mitts
