I have volunteered to present this week's NSW Health Surveillance Report up to 19 December. https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Documents/covid-19-surveillance-report-20201219.pdf
Good to see most people in isolation and tested by symptom onset. Only 6 people hadn't entered iso by 3 days of symptoms. The numbers suggest the cluster was caught at the right time.
Peak of this cluster is higher than Crossroads/Thai Rock but also shorter. We will see how the tail tracks.
Everything here linked to a known cluster bar the driver transporting flight crew (which is genomically unlinked).
Vast majority of local cases (even now) linked to Northern Sydney). Even today, only 2 active cases out of Greater Sydney.
The Juicy Part. I hadn't heard much about the takeway shop (I'm guessing it's in Avalon?) but I know the gym cases are from before the main Avalon events.
So yes there are two superspread events. 20 linked to RSL, 25 linked to Bowlo, and 8 who went to both events.

Congrats to @fictillius for picking out that that cases were caught before symptoms.
Release the poo tests! Find those bums! We can see positive sewage at some Northern Suburbs areas which has only recently tested positive.
No real change in overseas cases. Besides issues of complacency in NSW HQ, maybe three breaches in a month is just bad luck.
