1. I grew up in Old Magwegwe and I stayed there between 1995 to 2013. My mother still stays there. Today ngike ngatshaya iround. I'll show you a few of the "iconic" places.
2. Mina ngakhulela duze lasemangcwabeni. I wish I could take pics of amangcwaba but ngesaba ukuthi uJane uzahluphana lami. During idrought ka2012 amanzi ehlupha, sasisikha empompini yemangcabeni, sometimes wawuhlala kuqueue till 2am, emangcwabeni!!!
3. This is Magwegwe Reservoir aka Esgudugudwini, about 500m from edeni, but during water shedding sakesahlala 1 year kungelathonsi eliphuma empompini. Despite ukuhlala duze lesgudugudu, babesithi amanzi awafiki ngoba izindlu zethu zisemqansweni.
4. Lapha kusegarajini. Remember my tweet yokuthi "Umzimba yimbodlela, igazi yiparaffin"? Yikho ke lapha esasithenga khona iparaffin. It used to be beautiful, kubhalwe Caltex, with "no roads on potholes".

6. Right umduli lowu has memories. It's right next to iskolo. Inside the wall kulestand sechurch yakoSawasawa. During our days kwakungela gedi and that's where most school fights were held, inside the wall amatitsha engasiboni. But mina I never fought.

8. This is "Marisha stadium"...lol. This was home ground to iteam eyayithiwa yiNottingham, angazi yaphelela ngaphi. Later kwaba leZulu Chiefs layo yathi nyaa. Rumour has it that Benjani used to play here esasemncane. Not sure if it's true.
