Khet mazdoor Shivaji from #Maharashtra's Chandwad reached #Shahjahanpur -- 1,080 km away -- with Rs 100, a bedsheet, & resolve. "Not going home till farm laws withdrawn," he said.

My report from the protest site 130 km away from Delhi, where #FarmersProtest on for 2 weeks:
From #Maharashtra’s Akola, Dagdu Ekhande (40) and Kalu Kathore (35) have reached #Shahjahanpur in a tempo, with 15 others. “We earn Rs 100 a day. By being here I'm losing my livelihood but this is important... slept in schools, gurdwaras on the way. We will go to #Delhi too."
Among those protesting at the site are Ram Niwas (81) from Neemrana, 14 km away. “I have a bad knee and can barely walk, but I am at #Shahjahanpur every day for the future of my children. If they allow us to go to #Delhi, I’ll go there too,” said Niwas.

Sajjan Kaur (45) from Patiala is at #Shahjahanpur to do sewa at langar. "It’s cold, there aren’t enough bathrooms, toilets are dirty…but we are here for the future of our children. We begin cooking at 4 am & can’t wait to do the same in Delhi… Hunn Dilli zyaada durr ni haiga."
Baldev Singh (75) from Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar sat down for chai, and said, "My grandsons showed me videos of protests from #Singhu & #Tikri... We left our homes for Delhi, & will go there no matter what."
