Writing a #BookReview?

It's too hard they say! Why so? That's because even voracious readers insist that they can't write more than one-two lines about a book. Is that bad? Actually, it's not, because summarizing a 200 pages book in 1 sentence should be called an achievement!
But then the question arises how do we write a longer #BookReview? Let's first see how we can make it a paragraph long. Maybe approaching the problem in steps would make it easier to solve. So we move toward adding one more line to your review first.
Have you noticed that many readers love the touch and feel of a book and even when they read a soft copy or on Kindle, they miss that touch, smell & feel of paper? Well, that's the first thing you CAN talk about. Consider a few examples.
Pick up "The Case for India" by Will Durant ( https://amzn.to/3ppwgfY ) and compare it to "The Land of Seven Rivers" by Sanjeev Sanyal ( https://amzn.to/3rvvQqg ). Notice the difference in page quality, font, and printing, binding, etc. Would this affect the reader?
If I buy a book for myself, I'm both the customer & the consumer, but in case I'm purchasing it for gifting, the customer and the consumer of the book may be two different people. Both need to know the quality of the book, not only the contents of the book!
I will not be very keen on gifting a book that's poorly printed, has illegible fonts, loosely bound, shabby looking. Even as a reader all these impact my decision to purchase/read that book. You picked up that book, now in your #BookReview, can you help future readers?
The art on the cover page, paper quality, presence or absence of a table of contents, bibliography, all these features can be added to your review. Now does that make your #BookReview a few more words longer? Give it a try. We'll try to improve it further, all the best!
