For the past few days I’ve been considering the topic of “Intimacy & what people perceive as intimacy.”
I’ve learned so much. (1/5)
I’ve learned so much. (1/5)
Intimacy is touch. But it’s more than physical touch. Any intimacy doesn’t begin with or involve the heart—the mind, the emotions, the depths of the soul, isn’t really intimacy. (2/5)
As a matter of fact, if someone is intrigued, interested, & interacting only with your body —whether legitimately or illegitimately, they are using you. They’re actually draining your soul. (3/5)
You need to:
•Listen & be listened to
•Understand & be understood
•Feel deeply & be felt deeply
•Be a safe place & have a safe place to share your heart without fear
•Speak truth & be deemed worthy to hear truth
•Hear GOD for yourself & know you’re heard by GOD (4/5)

Intimacy is having deep, inside relationships. Shallow, superficial connections create emptiness. There’s nothing worse than having a life full of people & a heart void of intimacy. (5/5)
