OMG. How is, "Soul", not trending?

Pixar has absolutely crushed my expectations and completely redefined what an animated movie can be, yet again.

It's funny, yet serious. Poignant and endearing. Heartwarming, but reflective.
I don't want to give any spoilers, which, is something I don't think I would ever have to say about an ANIMATED FILM.

There is an entire element, significant to the movie, somehow incredibly unspoiled by its modern day trailer.

Artists went through the trouble to create, 3 fully separate universes within one story. Showcasing their incredible work while absolutely shattering the stereotypical.

Of course, there's the usual Pixar-verse, but they have stretched beyond their own expected pedigree.

The animated genre simply does not get the credit it deserves, but I think "Soul" could be "The One" to once and for all disintegrate the barriers by truly showcasing what animation can do when it passes through a storytelling lens not fully invested in child's play.
