Ugh, this @PandaExpress survey definitely triggers me. They're asking whether they're a source of Chinese culture for "Lunar New Year." Calling it LNY to begin with is already insensitive to the culture since the Chinese clearly celebrate CNY.

And no "Chinese" category either‽
Yes, I get that other cultures like Koreans celebrate LNY, but they don't celebrate CNY (see pics). The ways Canada celebrates is the cultural Chinese almanac celebration - [Cantonese] lion dance, red envelopes (which shouldn't be used for business promos), firecrackers, etc.
I make the effort to be as specific as possible in language when it comes to participating in cultural celebrations.

These are a few various New Year celebrations I've attended in the city: Gregorian calendar New Year, Korean New Year, Feast of Nayrouz, and liturgical New Year.
