On the O T H E R hand if the Nazgul were that vulnerable to fire all along then it was probably unnecessary to be so afraid of them
Furthermore however, one of the best scenes in the whole trilogy is the chase with Arwen and the Nazgul, and the galloping river flood/elven cavalry is in the running for best special effect in the dang thing
