I know who needs to hear this but I’ll say it out loud anyway: you vaccinate health care workers first because hospitals fall apart in a surge, not because you think it’s nice to vaccinate health care workers.

This is not some kind of treat like a B-2 flyover or whatever. One sick nurse means two ICU beds uncovered. Two other nurses get it in the breakroom and that’s six beds. I don’t know why people still don’t get this.
