Can someone from Canada or from a country with free healthcare explain free healthcare?

How is it to get a doctors appointment? Do you have to wait months? Surgeries? Etc.

1. I know I wrote free and it’s not free. It’s paid for by your taxes. I had to write free so we can differentiate from how it’s done in the US. We pay taxes but healthcare is not covered by taxes

2. I want my friends in the US to read these comments
