Laying on the couch in my warm, dry home with a full belly. My immediate family is here playing games and catching up by phone with extended family. It's part of the message of christmas that time with the people you love is the greatest gift, but this year I really feel it. I
The other thing that's been on my mind this season is all the years of my life when we didn't have enough. Didn't have enough money, didn't have time, didn't have shelter that wasn't sketchy, didn't have the qualifications, didn't have a sense that tomorrow would be any better.
I had supportive family (even if they couldn't solve my problems), I had a good education (even if I didnt have a degree), and I had my beloved @Victorio_M, whose hustle is unstoppable.
We have more than just barely enough now. We have enough to share, so we do. I feel like I am living the saying, "enough is as good as a feast." We are so fortunate, and so it is part of our work to see that every one of us has enough and we all can partake of the feast.
My beloved @Victorio_M says, "There is room for us all. There is enough to go around." Put on a pot of stone soup and everyone can eat. My holiday wish is that you get what you need to be happy and healthy, and pay the rest forward. Enough is enough and it's as good as a feast.
