For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

There is only one Savior. Another that people can proclaim as savior is not. There is no other like it. And if he proclaimed, he would not be a savior.

Satan uses his skill in devising the plan of lying.
Deception is Satan's instrument. Without it, he would have no success to catch the attention of Christians in his lies.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be

corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 11:3,4

The special object of Satan's attacks is the human mind.
Satan corrupts thoughts, perverting and hardening the conscience. His work is the opposite of that of the gospel, which cleanses the conscience.

Satan does his wicked work by blinding men's minds to the truth, hardening it, and deceiving their hearts, and making the passions override reason and enslave it. He causes men and women to question God's love and seeks to deprive them of the power to choose what is right.

He occupies their minds with everything and everything and makes them have no time or desire for Christ, His righteousness, and His kingdom. He seeks to instill in every mind enmity and rebellion against God.
