I'm likely the last to know it, but just in case, here's a small lesson I've learned this year:

All my life I have been waiting.

Waiting to grow up. Waiting to finally get an audition. Waiting to finally book something. Waiting to book something better.
This year has been a lot of waiting too.

Waiting to be allowed to go out. Waiting to see my friends. Waiting to get to actually be with a person I was falling in love with. Waiting to stop being heartbroken. Waiting for all this to be over.
This morning it occurred to me that now I'm waiting for life to be how it was before all this, but before all this, I was waiting too.
There is nothing to wait for.

You already are where you're going. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Maybe it won't be, so you'd better enjoy what's now because there's no back. No sense waiting for what's gonna be no matter what.
