Starting off with his background, Amad Diallo is an 18 Year Old winger from Atalanta who signed for Manchester United in a fee worth €30m + Add Ons.

Now we will have an insight on what are his strengths and weaknesses on the pitch:

Production Rate, Amad Diallo has an impressive 13 Goals and 15 Assists in the First Team and Academy.

Dribbling, probably the best aspect of his game, his dribbling will improve our team’s ability to Counter Attack due to his ball carrying.

Playmaking, neither Rashford or Greenwood provide any sort of creativity down the flanks which is why Amad Diallo’s creativity would be key for us in the many years to come.

Constant Threat, Amad Diallo gets a lot of Touches and Shots in the box which will cause a lot of problems for the opposition.

Defensive Contribution, a very important aspect of the modern game. Rashford & Greenwood’s inability to track back leaves our fullbacks in a 2v1 situation which results in many crosses getting into our box and potentially conceding. Amad Diallo’s ability to track back would help.

Weaknesses, he loses many Aerial Duels and gets dispossessed many times, however there is still time to improve at the age of 18.

However Losing Possession is a normal thing in football, even the best players do it and still end up getting plenty of goal contributions.

In conclusion he is still a very young player who has loads of time to keep improving and potentially be one of the best players in the world, I don’t expect him to start many games in the first 2 months but he will likely come off the bench at times.
