We know the Carnotaurus in Disney's Dinosaur was massive, but one of the two that we see in the rest of the film was especially BIG. Tried to scale it next to a T. rex (image by Franoys) based on Krentz's concept, the Dinosaurs ride sculpture, and the herbivores of the film.
The font size and the thickness of the line for the Carnotaurus is obviously bigger, but it checks out pretty well with the movie proportions
Before you'd mention it, yes Krentz's drawing is just a concept art, but they remained pretty faithful to its proportions while making the model.
The big and small one next to each other in the film.
Although it's pretty hard to tell, because they pretty much used the same model for each Carnotaurus, based on the size of the herbivores next to it, the one surviving member in the final act of the film is likely the smaller one, but it's still around the size of a T. rex.
Baylene would have been an easy snack.
As a further proof that the smaller one survived the cave, we see the body of the big one next to Aladar on the other side, however it needs to be pointed out that the perspective makes it look even bigger for this shot.
The Countdown to Extinction/Dinosaurs ride Carnotaurus seems ridiculously big (it is) but surprisingly faithful to the bigger one in the film, as far as the size goes.
Little comparison between the two "Krentz movies", Dinosaur and WWD3d. Ignoring for now the WWD Pachyrhinos have relatively smaller heads than the real ones. The Gorgosaurus is an animal around 8-9m. The Disney Carnotaurus next to it looks monstrously bigger.
