“I SHOULDNT HAVE TO KEEP EXPLAINING THIS!!!”
someone upset that explaining themselves to one person doesn’t automatically explain it to everyone else. Their head marks it as explained so it’s a shock when someone new doesn’t know.

This is something that can make or break you as a public figure. Literally, explaining the same shit you’ve explained a million times is how you get new people on board. Conversely if you can’t accept this fact, it might actually mentally break you.

This was one of the more interesting things I observed watching speedrunners on Twitch. Most of the best speedrunners LOVE to explain every tiny weird niche trick they are doing to save time. The explanations are just as much a part of the run as the run itself!

If you don’t explain what you are doing as a speedrunner, then likely no one knows what you are doing or why you are doing it.
“Why do I have to keep explaining this???”
Because it’s necessary, but more than that it’s enjoyable. People want it and love it.

transitioning into something like social politics we can observe the same thing
“I shouldn’t have to keep explaining racism bad!!!”
And well, new people are born every day. Getting salty about explaining the same things repeatedly usually means shitting on potential converts

Theres a great meme I've seen describing this distinction between leftist / alt-right recruitment tactics. Ppl on the left getting upset that new people don't already know everything, and people on the alt-right being overjoyed to explain the whole epic conspiracy. cant find tho
