The entire company Ripple was built around the idea of building value into XRP. In fact they've been promoting ILP as the level playing field they desire, but ILP would deprecate all their products. So obviously Ripple's not about being a remittance company, it's all about XRP
add to this fact that Ripple has already stated that they are not profitable without XRP sales, so their business model is not very lucrative even at its best potential.

XRP as a security will be nearly worthless If Ripple can't use XRP as a bridge
What this amounts to is, those are that are claiming XRP as a security isn't a bad outcome, don't recognize that it's the worst possible outcome for Ripple. It's not going to play out like this, but don't go around preaching that XRP as a security is a good thing
