Today, more than ever, it’s worth remembering that there people around us who have suffered loss and are experiencing fresh ache and emptiness. There are people who are surrounded by others yet they feel alone and abandoned...
There are people who are unwillingly submerged in busyness but wish they had a few minutes to be still. There are people who want to cherish the season but feel like they can’t connect.
There are people who want to mend relationships but can’t find the mental, emotional, and physical energy to do it. There are people who are struggling... just struggling... maybe for reasons we don’t understand.
Let me challenge you not to forget, ignore, or avoid these people. Instead, may we accept, love, engage, and welcome those who are around us and those who we must seek out.
