Cirjan Catalin, a thread.
As we all know, a few days ago Cirjan was promoted to the first team at the tender age of only 18. This meant that he trains with the first team now.
Let's find out more and understand who cirjan is.....
Catalin Ionut Cirjan was born on the 1st of December, 2002 at Domnesti in Romania.
Catalin joined Arsenal from Viitorul Domnesti after a successful trial in the summer of 2019
In his first season at the club, he was already making waves.
He put pen to paper on his first professional contract in December 2019.
Cirjan is a technically gifted midfielder. Who can play centrally, as a number 10 and also on the right wing.
While he is only 18, he already has established himself in the U23s and a professional debut doesn't seem quite far.
The teenager played 19 games in total last campaign, both in the league and the FA Youth Cup, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
This season, he is truly showcasing his talent.
He has 6 appearances in PL2 with 2 goal and an assist already.
He has also played 3 games in the EFL trophy scoring one goal.

Cirjan is an amazing talent. Technical, fast, a good decision maker and a very creative player. Reminds me a lot of Tomas rosicky.
While he is very good with his feet, physically he is not as developed to play first team football. A few more months with the U23s and then a loan to the Bundesliga would get him ready for first team football
Cirjan is a part of the golden generation of the Arsenal academy alongside players like Saka,Smith Rowe, Matt Smith, kido Taylor hart, Zak Swanson, and many other promising youngsters.
