THREAD #BhagavadGita4All #Bhagavadgita #Bhagavadgitajayanti

On the occasion of Gita Jayanti and Vaikunth Ekadashi, I thought of sharing some links that would be useful for all.
First some background before I come to what I wanted to share.
There was a time when I went through a lot of emotional turmoil and anxiety had gripped me due to some personal issues. I was away working but was unable to focus on work, impacting my general well-being as well.
That is when I took up Bhagavad Gita with some seriousness. I tried to read but somehow it was hard to understand. So, I started attending weekly classes on Bhagavad Gita. Friends, believe me, it worked for me as a boon as I started to listen and find ways to +
implement the teachings in my life. It was as if someone is pulling me out of a deep gorge and saving my life.
So, I thought of sharing this and also requesting to give your time to listen/read Bhagavad Gita. If you are first timer, listening helps a lot. +
+ This I can say from personal experience. Even Swamiji Maharaj who was taking classes there suggested me to listen, rather than read. Luckily, thanks to technology, there are recorded lectures available and I wanted to share some in this thread
Also, do not just aim to finish. Finishing is not important. Each verse is a gem and can change your life completely, so no need to rush. Traditionally Gurus have told to go in the steps: Shravana, Manana, Nididhyasana. Shravana is listening and that must be reflected upon.
