Liberals are smarter than ex-Muslims and other haters of Islam. Liberals understand in order to push their agenda, they push “different interpretations” which does exist in our tradition. However, they push bad interpretations that no orthodox Muslim would agree with

Ex-Muslims and other haters of Islam are kind of dumb because they’ll argue with a Muslim, and they will try to push an “interpretation” that makes Islam look the worst even if Muslims disagree.

Let’s take the supposed “wife beating” in the Quran. Every Muslim knows you can’t beat your wife in the deen but the ones I mentioned above still insist that we can.

Why do you want Muslims to beat their wives so bad? If they had a brain, they would know it’s counterproductive

Liberals/leftists have already solved the puzzle and it makes them more dangerous. They play games with half truths.

“Hey, I’m very tolerant of Muslims but other Muslims are giving you nice Muslims a bad name with their bad interpretations”

While that is true that some Muslims give us bad PR, they don’t mean it in the same way we do and most of the time, they aren’t even doing this on purpose.

It becomes sort of a natural bad cop, good cop type thing. Run away from the Islamophobe, and seek refuge with the liberal

And this is how Liberal Muslims happen. They feel they have nowhere to turn to and so have to fit in with liberals/leftists.

This is why the abuse of the existence of different interpretations is common among them.
