#TulsiPujanDiwas
Garuda Purana says that Sri Vishnu stays with the person who wears Tulsi beads.
The japmala has 108 beads plus one. The 108 beads refer to chanting 108 names of Prabhu/chanting a mantra 108 times.
One larger bead is called Krishna bead.
It is believed that use of Tulsi beads purify the mind, body as well as the soul of a person. It radiates positive vibes and helps to get rid of all forms of negative energy. Wearing a Tulsi mala increases concentration n the wearer gets rid of health problems.

Mostly 'Tulsi mala' is seen worn by 'Vishnu' and 'Krishna' devotees and Buddhists prefer the black 'Tulsi mala'.

In Vishnu Dharmaottara, Sri Vishnu himself says that anyone who wears Tulsi mala, even if he is of Tamsik vriti or bad character, will surely attain Prabhu himself.
