👉Manyam konda- It is located about 16 Kms from MBNR District towards Raichur. In the ancient days sages / spiritual gurus like Narasimha Yogi, Ettepu Ramayogi, Kasirayalu, Veerappaiah, Yanumaddhasu were meditated here.
so that it is known as Munulakonda. During a passage of time it has been transformed to Manyam Konda. One can have a glimpse of the ancient caves where the sages / gurus did meditation over here. This temple is located in a cave and it is perched on the top of three hills.
👉Kurumurthy- Kurumurthy Rayudu: This place is located about 25 Kms away from Kothakota which is on the NH No. 44 Hyd & Kurnool. Kurumurthi is a hill temple and the main deity is Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy. In olden days the temple was in a cave in between two mountains.
👉Beechupally is one of the famous shrines for the god Hanuman. It is located on the banks of Krishna River at about 30 kilometers downstream after Jurala Project and 180kms from Hyd.The shores of Krishna River at this location are noted for carrying out obsequies to the departed
Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple at Pedda Chintharevula located 30 kms from Gadwal on bank of Krishna River was constructed by Sri Vyasaraya on getting information that Sri Seshadasula, a patwari was conducting the puja there. The temple was constructed in 18th century.
👉Uma maheswaram also kwn as maheshwaram is the temple dedicated to lord Shiva. It is located in nallamala forest ranges,100 kms from Hyderabad.This temple was constructed at 2nd century ad and it was believed to have been built during the period of Maurya Chandra Gupta.
this place finds mention in many Vedic scriptures and it is believed that everything to Srisailam without visiting uma maheswaram is incomplete.
👉PADAMATI ANJANEYA SWAMY TEMPLE- MAKTHAL: it is located 170 kms from Hyd-Raichur NH167. The holy idol of lord Hanuman was instantiated by JAMBAVANTHA,a bhakt of divine lord Ram. The idol of lord Hanuman is facing towards west which is the only one of its kind in South India.
Another feature is that this temple does not have a roof.The idol in this temple dries up in the sun and bathes in the rain.
👉SRI RANGAPURAM- Sri ranganayaka Swamy temple is located at srirangapur. This temple was built during 18th century AD. This temple was constructed by Sri krishnadevaraya the Vijayanagara ruler. the temple is a classic example of Vijayanagara architecture.
