We swore an oath to do no harm. The pandemic doesn’t erase that. Yet Big Pharma companies like Regeneron and Eli Lilly may have caused the new COVID-19 mutation in the UK by rushing monoclonal antibodies through clinical trials and testing them on human beings like guinea pigs.

Rather than speak out and stop them, many doctors quoted by many media companies applauded and cheered on Big Pharma while completely ignoring their Hippocratic oath to do no harm. We need robust clinical trials for a reason. But too many sided with the mob over medical ethics.

Medicine isn’t journalism. Doctors should be held to a far higher ethical standard when it comes to telling the truth, even if it’s unpopular. Testing new cutting edge technologies in animals and human beings at the same time is not called efficiency. It’s called cutting corners.
