On 25th Dec each year, we celebrate Tulsi Poojan. Tulsi is considered an "amrit" in Ayurved owing to its medicinal properties and it`s regular use keeps you calm and stress free. No worship of Bhagwan Vishnu is considered complete without the use of Tulsi
Worship method
Ideally we should perform Tulsi Poojan in the morning. Kumkum should first be applied to Tulsi Maa, followed by Aarti and offering of water.

महाप्रसादजननी सर्व सौभाग्यवर्धिनी
आधि व्याधि हरा नित्यं तुलसी त्वं नमोस्तुते
Following this you can perform 11,21, or 111 revolutions around the Tulsi Maa as per you Sharaddha. Following this, put basil leaves in the Prasad and distribute it
