Pretty sure that neuroscientists could preserve and store human brains way better than any cryonics company, and for a lot less than $80,000 each. Even with stupid laws that delay perfusion. Why not just do it and call it brain banking for far future whole-brain connectomics?
Promise people absolutely nothing, charge them absolutely nothing -paid for by philanthropists who want to create a museum of humanity's living history. Only condition is that *everyone* who wants gets highest quality preservation possible with fully open quality checks.
To my neuroscience colleagues: Would this be acceptable to you morally and professionally? If not, what needs changing? I am confident that philanthropists will support if a few very high caliber neuroscientists do. Lets dialog here, what needs changing to make this acceptable?
