Finished rereading The Name Hunt Station. Still my favorite arc. Before I talk about the positives I’ll just get out the negatives. First is the handling of exposition with it sometimes feeling forced and some background characters existing just to deliver it.

Also recontextualize events.The NHS has very little overall presence in the story to the point where although a very stupid statement some people have said it’s like a filler arc. The importance of this arc truly shines in the themes it presents and how prevalent they are to Baam
and one of the key factors of his character arc. That would be self identity and responsibility, mainly pertaining to characters that have power or a “higher purpose” like Baam and the antagonist of this arc Kaiser. Kaiser or Elaine is arguably the best antagonist in all of ToG.
