presenting my first twitter map: a gerrymander of whoville. while no actual maps or demographic information exists of whoville, I will explain my methodology below
in the animated version of the film, the orientation of the sunrise indicates that the grinch lives in the northwest portion of whoville. this grinch (as well as his neighbors) strongly favor the green party.
also in the film, the small blonde child (described as not yet 2) has a solid capacity for learning, showing a robust pre-k program in the town. it is for this reason that I decided the city center has a strong democratic lean
the strong libertarian presence comes from the fact that there is clearly no police force in whoville (how else was the grinch successful?) showing their strength
and the republican prevalence? simple. there’s clearly a strong christian culture in the city, many of whom vote republican.
