Thus whoever prays Vishnu on this day will reach Vaikuntam.
Vaikunta Ekadashi is celebrated in a grand manner in all Vishnu temples. Devotees observe fast on the day. Fasting on Vaikuntha Ekadashi is equivalent to fasting on all other Ekadashi.
Vishnu opened the gate of Vaikuntham for demons on this particular day. Also whoever listens to story and chant Hari Nama will reach Vaikunth as well.
