Good heuristic for knowing how much twitter is rotting your brain is to think of all the weird opinions you hold that you'd be embarrassed to discuss with your parents or coworkers or neighbors.

I almost gave the example of "try discussing 'Stalin was good' with your parents," but I didn't want to deal with tankies in my mentions saying "lol ok I will," who would then not actually do it (because posting is easier than discussing "Stalin is good" with your parents!)
