$BFI BurgerFi 🍔

Is it a worthy investment or a half-cooked SPAC?

My analysis thread ⬇️
🐂 Bull Case

⭐ Recently hired a new CEO, Julio Ramirez, who has 26 years experience at Burger King - reaching the Global Chief Operations Manager in his time there.

$BFI are hoping to enlist his extensive franchisee contacts around the world.
⭐ Chef created food menu. On trend with hormone-free meat, Beyond Meat vegan option and sides being made fresh in store every day.
⭐ Focusing on creating a seamless online service with the use of "ghost kitchens" to fulfil food and deliver without having a shop front, reducing overheads significantly.
🐻 Bear Case

❗BurgerFi have attempted to expand outside their FL stronghold with little success in the past. Many outlets were forced to close due to lack of market penetration.
❗The current global health crisis makes indoor dining difficult and $BFI peers such as @shakeshack have not done well this year.

❗ Fast casual concept has many competitors especially for burgers. Does BurgerFi have enough to offer to stand out?
📈 Current price $14.80

= $260m valuation incl. $30m cash to balance sheet but not incl. Warrants

9.36m additional shares available to exercise if $19, $22, $25 share price thresholds reached.
Potential: Peers such as $SHCK, Five Guys & Burger King have valuations between $3-$5bn implying that $BFI could one day be a 10-20x investment.

My Verdict: There are many risks ahead for $BFI but if they can execute well, this can be a very lucrative investment.
What do you think about $BFI and its prospects?
