This year I'm hosting Nic's family for Christmas for the first time. I'm going to start a tradition of adding the word tradition to the end of every meal or activity so everyone thinks my very un-Christmasy menu & behavior is a family tradition.

The traditional shashuka was success for breakfast. Hoping the traditional Greek lamb will also be popular for lunch. I have to Mediterranean blood. #tradition

I introduced my kiwi family to a genuine tradition that my uncle started of buying magazines for everyone and gifting them as the last present. Now no one is talking as they're all engrossed in the zines.
