If Arteta gets sacked I feel really sorry for him. Maybe cognitive distortion, having wanted him to succeed, but I think he inherited a shitshow from KSE’s complete mishandling of the club since they took over. Idiots above and poison below, with an abysmally inadequate squad.
Not the ideal position for any manager to be in. IF Arteta goes, I don’t see anyone stepping in and producing immediate results unless the players buy in. Ultimately, they’re forcing Arteta out with lackluster non-performances, and could easily make the new guy’s job impossible.
At the end of the day - we’re better off seeing this season through with MA - trying to not get relegated, clearing out snakes & klingons, getting the youngsters on the pitch, (creating stars not buying them) and - most importantly, forcing the owners to fix what they’ve broken.
Hopefully we can win a cup or two to keep us in Europe, which always helps when trying to attract players.
We need to stop looking back at past glories. Stop thinking of ourselves as a top club. We’re not. We’re a broken club in peril.

We’ve changed management. Changed coaching staff. Changed ancillary staff. Changed players.
Changing owners would be the ideal next step. It won’t happen.
We need to force KSE to put experienced football people in place from the board down.
That’s the way to support our club.
